Don't you love how local weathermen take pleasure in other people's misery? According to Chief Meteorologist (and local celebrity) Bill Meck, the greater Lexington area would have been blanketed with over two feet of beautiful snow...instead, we got over 3" of rain that froze and caused power outages all over town. Unfortunately, we lost power on Tuesday night and, as of now, still don't have it. I think we are one of the last neighborhoods to be in the dark. Luckily, Billy and Cheryl never lost power and are dog friendly. The family packed up some belongings and trucked it over to ther house in the midst of Blizzard 09. Everyone was excited to see Liam...especially Bridget and Ally (their mini daschunds), whom Liam couldn't get enough of and thought were hilarious. We were able to salvage all of the breast milk (Ravin's chief concern) and we now have frozen meat in a cooler in the backyard.
Not to be outdone by a little bit of ice, Liam slept through the night (9 - 7) for three consecutive nights! He had a little trouble last night with all of the day's excitement and sleeping in new surroundings. We hope to get him back on track tonight.
I hope to add some pictures tonight so keep track if you're bored out of your mind.
