Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Wow! What a fun time we have all had with Christmas this year!

As soon as we sat them in Santa's lap they just started smiling! So cute! Liam told Santa he wanted a bow & arrow. At other times he has also asked for fake mustaches, a dino that shoots fire, and an airplane. Then he decided that his favorite color was blue and all of these things should come in blue. We explained to him that just because that was his favorite color that it didn't mean that everything had to come in that color. He also decided that he had a blue airplane that M got him so he didn't need that. Dad talked Liam into telling people that Evelyn would like a Playstation3 for Christmas. I think Santa saw right through that one!

The week before Christmas Evelyn Grace woke up at 2 AM was happy as can be for 2 hours! HAHA!

Yes...she is still a thumb sucker! Getting in the holiday spirit!

This year was our 3rd year to organize a bell ringing to help raise money for the Salvation Army. Liam was excited, but wanted to know where the solders were because of the word Army. He was so cute. We had to cover a few different shifts and by the time we took the family photo below Liam was not in the mood for pictures.

This was earlier in the day when we had just started. He was all smiles and loved thanking everyone for giving. He kept wanting to say Happy New Year instead of Merry Christmas!

These BIG gloves kept him warm!!!

This is a picture of our friends children who came over to share gifts with Liam and Evelyn Grace. We added 3 girls to this mix in the last year! So much fun!

I took Mary Keene shopping for a late birthday present. She was a big help with Evie!

Mary Keene and Andrew helped Liam make a Gingerbread Train. They all enjoyed the candy! Andrew was the lead architect!

We started our Christmas holiday with a trip to Glasgow to stay at M&Doc's house.

So sleepy at M & Docs house!

Evelyn had just started sitting up and she was such a good girl! She sat up like this playing through our entire dinner.

Liam was all smiles in Glasgow! I am not sure what he was eating.

When we got home from Glasgow we went to church for the Christmas Eve service. After we got back we had dinner. Liam got to eat his favorite meal...hot dogs and mac and cheese! Then we made gingerbread cookies. He was very cute about decorating them.

We forgot to make a pirate gingerbread man like one from the Pirate Gingerbread book he has. So...we made this....I tried! This is our pirate gingerbread man with a wooden leg! LOL!

Of course cookie decorating was messy!

These next few were taken Christmas morning. Liam was really excited about everything and was sure to thank all of us...Mom, dad, and santa. It was really cute how thankful he was.

Our Tree!!

After we opened our gifts, ate breakfast and went to church it was time to head to Falmouth for more Christmas! Here is my uncle Mike with Evelyn. He showed her the tree which she loved.

She sleeps like this with her head cocked all the way back. As far as she can get it.

Liam got a 6 car race track that uncle Lincoln helped him put together. It was a hit.

This is a cute picture of Josie holding Evelyn after her Christmas play.

Another cute picture of Evelyn Grace with Papaw John during the Christmas play.

Fun with cousins on Christmas at Mamaw Cindy's house!

I know this picture looks cute, but...look below for what it can turn into with these two...lol.

I think they are asleep here, but he doesn't look innocent.

EG sitting in a high chair for the first time! We were eating a Suggins.

Of course Liam wanted his picture taken after I took Evie's!

These next two pictures were taken at the new location for the Morris Book Shop in Lexington. We love this place and I think it is a great place to have pictures taken!

Liam recently had a puppet show at school and he came home and started doing his own act with socks! HAHA!

Here is Evelyn holding her bottle for the first time!

We hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year! We certainly did and we continue to enjoy these two cuties!!!
