We are having a very busy summer! There is so much to catch up on! After all of Evelyn Grace's birthday parties we went in vacation to Fripp Island, SC! We had a great time! We got to visit with my brother, Lincoln who is stationed at the Marine base on Parris Island! We had a great time. Evelyn Grace is still not walking. This does not shock me. Her brother didn't walk until he was 16 months old. So, she still has time! She does however do a butt scoot on the ground. It is really cute to see. She jut slides around on her butt instead of crawling. She has learned recently that it is easier to crawl regular when she is on carpet. She now has 8 teeth. She only had 3 for the longest time...all on the bottom. Her top teeth came in k9 first. So she looked like a little vampier for a few days. At her one year check up she was about 21 pounds which is pretty normal. She is now in the Tiny Tota room at daycare! We were sad to leave the great teachers in the infant room but love to be back under the care of Miss Sally and Miss Elaine.
In our efforts to get Liam to go to sleep a a normal bedtime we moved him to part time and have our sitter Emily watching him Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This has helped because without that nap during the day like he takes a daycare he is asleep at 9 instead of 11! Bless everyones heart including his! Liam's big news this summer is that he has learned to swim! We are very proud of him and we know he will only continue to he better!
